I have had an interesting week...

First off, I went walking through the town Mall not to long ago, and I was nothing short of Shocked. As I walked, I had the crazy idea. " Go ahead and take off your hat...", said a random thought in my head.

So, in the center of the mall, in front of God and everyone else, I took off my Hat and Revealed my Tattoo. Out of, from what I am guessing, Reflex, I gave one of those angry looks as I slowly looked up, Expecting to finish any confrontation that would be started Therein. Ironically, no one even looked at me.

I then let out a sigh of relief and began heading towards my destination. To my surprise, the only comment I heard that would cause any kind of emotional stir was a small girl that said," Mommy, look at that! ", adding to it with a pointed finger, straight to my Forehead.

Adding salt to my already Injured dignity, I was followed out of the Mall By a Small, 3-girl group. The old me would jump at the chance and try to make a move that would somehow end very lucratively, yet for some reason, the opposite happened. I turned around and looked at them, staring at them with a look that said " I am not in the mood!''. one of them asked me what my tattoo means, and I said nothing. Another asked if I was Japanese, I said with a smile," Iie, Nihonjin Dewanai...* I gave a bow from the waist and added* Gome-nasai... "( Japanese- " No, I am not Japanese. Forgive me.")

I hope I never meet girls that will only look at my mark and not "Me" in the future. I got this mark as a Symbol, not as a way to seek attention. If I wanted Attention, I would seek a Faster, Cheaper, and most importantly, less Painful way of doing so.
